Algenys has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst since May 2013, and she has been working in the field of ABA in 2009. Throughout her career, Algenys has worked with various populations of children, including children diagnosed with autism spectrum and related disorders as well as children with anxiety and phobia disorders, children with behavioral challenges and children diagnosed with ADHD. She has worked with children and families of various backgrounds in center, school, home and community settings.
Currently she focuses on developing, implementing and supervising verbal behavior programs for children with autism. She improves the lives of the children she works with by using the principles of behavior analysis. Her goal with every child is to help them acquire developmentally appropriate communication skills, social skills, and self-help skills, while reducing challenging behaviors.
