Audrey Lynn Amadeo was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Audrey was an Honors Student throughout her school years. She has always had a passion for giving back to her community. She started her experience with children with disabilities at the age of 13. Audrey learned American Sign Language and would teach her deaf peers the art of dance. She was 1 of 75 students accepted to the Miami-Dade Honors College. After graduating with Honors with an AA in Psychology she moved on to Florida Atlantic University on a full scholarship. At FAU, Audrey obtained a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Certification in Exceptional Students Education. She has now obtained her Masters in Developmental Disabilities with a Specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis. Her experience over the past 10-years of working with children with developmental disabilities and her dream of having a dance studio for children with special needs has become a reality. The Arts for Autism Foundation was founded by Audrey Lynn because of her education, passion and talent for dance and working with children with Autism. She utilizes her certification in Autism Movement Therapy and ABA to implement a structured Spectrum Dance Therapy class for children with Autism.
