Donna, BCBA, obtained her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Behavior Analysis in 2009 from Nova Southeastern University where she was a member of the Psi Chi Honor Society and the National Psychology Honor Society. Currently Donna is a BCBA and a certified ITDS, Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist, with Early Steps. As an ITDS for the state Donna has helped hundreds of families in South Florida deal with the anguish and the joy of having a child diagnosed with ASD and other related disorders. She has 10 years of combined experience working with both typically and atypically developing young toddlers and school aged children. Donna was inspired to become a behavior analyst while completing her undergraduate practicum at NSU’s Starting Right program. She was also worked extensively at the Baudhin Preschool for children with developmental disabilities through which she was able to participate in the Atlanta School District reorganization plan for Atlanta’s special needs programs using Baudhin as a model. Donna’s future plans include research, publication, and obtaining a BCBA-D.
