Johana is a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) who has been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for over 4 years. She received her BA degree in Psychology at Florida International University and is currently pursuing a MA in Marriage and Family Therapy to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) as well as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Johana was born in Cuba and migrated to Miami, FL when she was 9 years old. She first fell in love with ABA while in her first semester at FIU when she took an intro to ABA class. Since then she has trained and supervised therapists and has gained experience in leading social group skills and early intervention therapy. She truly has a passion for the field and for helping to better people’s lives through the magic of ABA. Johana is fluent in Spanish and English and is currently learning Portuguese. Her dream is to spread the science of ABA and help families worldwide.
