Latanya Long has a MS in Counseling with a concentration on Advanced Applied Behavior Analysis from Nova Southeastern University. She fell in love with Applied Behavior Analysis as a Psychology major student at Florida International University, where she graduated Cum Laude when she received a BA degree. She is currently a BCaBA and a member of FABA. Latanya plans on continuing to grow professionally, part of which includes becoming a BCBA in the near future.
She has experience writing behavior plans, doing parent and staff training. She has conducted DTT, FA and FBA. She has worked with children ages 2- 14 years old with developmental disabilities, and also those who are typically developing and their families. Latanya’s experience consists of working in home, school and clinical settings. She enjoys working with children and shares in the mission of PBS to provide individualized support to children and their families as each are unique. She feels fortunate to have the opportunity to improve the lives of the children/families she encounters.
