Michelle Diaz is currently a Registered Behavior Technician, and an undergraduate in Florida International University pursuing her degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis. She has always enjoyed teaching and working with children in different age groups. Her first experience working with a child with ASD was in FIU’s Center for Children and Families Autism Spectrum Disorder Summer Treatment Program in 2014. Michelle had the privilege to learn from amazing BCBAs, BCaBAs, and fellow therapists. She has worked in school, clinic, and home settings. One important lesson she has experienced is that the smallest and simplest of achievements make a huge impact for a family and a child with autism. Michelle wishes to reach out and spread the teachings of autism awareness and applied behavior analysis techniques to individuals and families in need locally and globally.
