Parent Training

How do you encourage your son to sleep through the night? How do you prevent outbursts at Target?  Why does your daughter go to the bathroom as soon as you take her off the potty?

We want you to know the answers.

Our business model is a bit different. We want to get you to the point where you don’t need us anymore as quickly as possible. In order to give your family the independence you want, we believe in an inclusive model of therapy that actively involves family members.  This means invitations, information and education.

InvitationsOur therapy sessions are open. We encourage you to be actively and intimately involved in what we’re doing while we do it. We want you to watch firsthand the power of ABA therapy in action, and encourage not only you to participate, but to also include siblings and other caretakers.

InformationYou can’t be our partner if we don’t share what we know. Like all scientists, PBS therapists constantly collect data and analyze it to verify progress. The data is extensive and detailed, but we feel it is important that you see what works (and what doesn’t) with your child while we see it. At no additional cost to you, we have partnered with Catalyst (datafinch.com)  to give you real-time access to your child’s detailed objectives, data, daily notes and videos of segments of our sessions so that we can keep you as involved as possible even when you are at work.

Education We want to teach you ABA. We have developed an extensive parent training curriculum so that you are empowered with the tools you need. On your terms, in your home, we will share with you the skills and techniques you need to continue progress with your child. We answer your questions, work on what you are uncomfortable with, evaluate how you’re doing and even give homework! (Don’t worry, no grades!)

We look forward to partnering with you.
