Amanda is a behavior therapist who has been working in the field of applied behavior analysis for the past six years. She holds a Master’s degree in Psychology with a focus on Behavior Analysis from Florida International University (FIU) and is a Board certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Amanda became interested in working with special needs after working at a pre-school post graduating with her bachelor’s degree. During this time, she met several children with special needs and realized that the help and support for both the children and their families left big room for improvements. Throughout her career, Amanda has worked with individuals of all ages and varying disabilities. For the last few years, she has primarily worked with younger children and her main foci have been behavior reduction and verbal behavior programming. Amanda speaks fluent English and Swedish.
