Daniela is an RBT who developed an enormous interest in the field of ABA while working with the developmentally delayed and ASD population as a Social Worker in the Neurology department at a pediatric hospital. Her position as a pediatric Social Worker allowed Daniela to see the rising prevalence of children with ASD while seeing how ABA provided long lasting and effective results in all children treated. Daniela then decided to learn more about the field by becoming RBT certified and enrolling in Florida Institute of Technology’s ABA master’s program which she is in the process of completing. Daniela obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and then her Master’s degree in Social Work from Florida International University. Before becoming a hospital pediatric social worker, Daniela had the opportunity to work in the mental health field with the adult population and prior to that she worked with the migrant children though the unaccompanied minor’s program.
Daniela loves to travel, ride horses and read. She has become very involved in her parish and enjoys learning about her faith as well as participating in activities to assist the underprivileged communities.
