Lazaro is an energetic and spirited individual who was born in Venezuela, and later moved to the United States as a child. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Computer Animation from the Miami International University of Art and Design and has worked as a photographer and graphic designer for the past fifteen years. Though his career was art-driven, he has always had a passion for helping others. After his best friend’s son was diagnosed with Autism, Lazaro saw firsthand how impactful early intervention can be, and how he wanted to be a positive change in the lives of children. Even as a business owner, Lazaro offered free photo sessions for children with disabilities, such as Down Syndrome and Autism. He provided a judgement-free atmosphere where both parents and children could feel comfortable. Lazaro also conducted a free cover photo session for an Autism magazine that was published quarterly. This exposure to children on the Spectrum has redirected his career to focus on behavior therapy. He is currently in process of being certified as an RBT and will be registering for the Master’s of Science in ABA at Florida Institute of Technology.
