Suzzette “Suzy” Velazquez, M.S. is a Behavior Therapist who is sitting for the BCBA exam.  She first learned about ABA while working as a Para-professional in a private school for children with ASD and learning differences. Suzy received her Master’s in Counseling with a concentration in Advanced Applied Behavior Analysis from Nova Southeastern University (Cum Laude). She is a member of Golden Key Honor Society, Delta Epsilon Iota Academic Honor Society, and Psi Chi-The International Honor Society in Psychology. While accumulating her practicum hours in Nova, she worked in home settings, school settings, and in the community implementing ABA techniques such as social skills training, teacher and parent training, verbal behavior, skills acquisition, and behavior reduction. Her passion is to help all children reach their fullest potential. She enjoys her career and has fun with the kiddos! Suzy loves traveling and one of her goals are to take ABA overseas where ABA is not well-known. 

Suzy is also a Mommy of one girl who is a toddler and a Step-momma of a 7th grader and a 23 year old (girls). She enjoys taking her daughters to the park, the pool and especially to Disney! =)
