Yaneli is 22 years old and currently pursuing her Master’s in Occupational Therapy at the Florida International University. She was introduced to Behavioral Analysis as a young child when her younger brother was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and has been learning about developmental disabilities since. During her time as an undergraduate psychology major, she took several courses pertaining to behavioral science such as Introduction to Behavioral Analysis, The Application of Applied Behavioral Analysis to Child Behavior problems and Statistics for Behavioral Sciences II. She later became a certified Registered Behavioral Technician after training online at the Florida Institute of Technology. After about a year with her previous agency, Yaneli became a Rehab Aide at a local children’s hospital, increasing her insight and love for the pediatric field of rehabilitation. This combination of academic and life experiences have led her to choose the career path she is on today. Yaneli ultimately hopes to bring a fun-loving and caring environment to each one of her clients and their families as she helps them reach their behavioral goals.
